In the poem Piano and Drums the narrator: Gabriel Okara, responds to the both types of euphony and instrument; Piano and drums differently. His response to the drums is that of excitement and callownessfulness, however, his response to the subdued is of unfamiliarity. Okara shows his 2 different attitudes through his choice of verbiage, rhythm, metaphors and symbolism.
